After I've entered a time why should it default to any other time?
Rob -
Inappropriate?Do you wake up the exact same time every day? Would you prefer the default time was the last entered wake up time?
-
Inappropriate? What is the point of entering a time if it defaults to something else on every start up?
Rob -
Inappropriate?Dear Rob, so what you request is that the default time is based on yesterday's entry - correct?
-
Inappropriate?Let me try again-the sleep diary portion of the program has 7 fields, in 6 of which you can enter the appropriate times, numbers etc and all of the entries will survive multiple restarts. i.e. you can go back at any time or date and see the data for that date. the 7th, time out of bed, does not work this way. If I want to see when I got out of bed 3 days ago, I find an arbitrary default value, not what I entered. I fail to see why there is a default value on this field while the others perform properly. I don't want default value, period. I want what I enter to survive just as all the other data entries do.
Thanks-Rob

Inappropriate?Hello,
I have to say I find the sleep diary frustratiing too. But it looks great. I have tried a few other diary apps and they work in ways which would definately be useful if they were adopted by yours.
- You can't select a date. So when you make an entry it assumes that you are talking about the evening before. Sometimes I am having to make diary entries 24 hours after the actual night.
- The diary doesn't automatically save your entry, so if you have to go out of the dairy half way through so you haven't finished filling it in, your data is lost
- Why does it default to a pm, when one would assume that the majoirty of peoples wake up times are in the morning?
I hope you find thi s feedback helpful.
Thanks,
Rebecca

Inappropriate? The diary's I am refering too are the gratitude journal app and the free sleep diary app. Might be worth you looking at those to see what I am talking about.
Sleep diary asks a few extra questions too:
- How did you feel when you work up?
It also has questions for you before you go to bed:
- How much time did you spend napping today?
- How many caffinated drinks did you have today? (coffee, tea, soda)
- How many alchoholic drinks did you have today?
- Aproximately how much time did you spend exercising today?
- If you took any other medications today what were they?
Thanks,
B
